1. Why does it show "Eagle is not running"?
X to Eagle communicates with the official Eagle desktop client locally via
http://127.0.0.1:41595. Please ensure the Eagle app is launched and running in the background on your computer.2. Does X to Eagle collect or store my tweets?
No. The extension operates 100% locally on your machine. No accounts, no external proxies, no analytics scripts, and zero telemetry data.
3. How are videos saved?
The extension uses an in-browser WebAssembly FFmpeg engine to remux Twitter HLS video fragments into standard MP4 files locally, preserving maximum visual quality.
4. Can I customize default folders and tags?
Yes. In the capture modal or side panel, you can search and select any existing Eagle folder, add tags, and your preferences are automatically remembered for subsequent saves.
